Man critical after Sligo shooting



A MAN who was the victim of a gun attack in Sligo town was fighting for his life in hospital last night.

The 23-year-old was in a critical condition following the shooting on Friday night. He was shot at least twice when he answered the door of his home in the Cranmore area shortly after 11pm.

A garda investigation into the shooting has been launched.
