WITH Brian Cowen yet again insisting that he won't continue the SSIA scheme to boost private pensions, it's more important than ever to consider how we're providing for retirement. So this week's top thrifty tip comes from everyone's favourite OAP Harrison Ford. The 63year-old Indiana Jones star says he likes to take advantage of the cut-price pensioner's special when he goes to the cinema, while his younger girlfriend, Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart (41), pays full whack.
Ford told the Daily Mirror:
"Calista and I went to the movies yesterday, and I ordered one adult and one senior citizen. I saved $6 ( 4.95)." Rumours that Ford is to replace Eddie Hobbs on Show Me The Money are as yet unconfirmed.
