LAST Sunday we published articles on pages 1 and 3 about the life of the late Frankie Byrne and in particular her lengthy romance with the late Frank Hall. The articles were accompanied by a number of photographs.
One of the photographs depicted Frank Hall with Mildred O'Brien. The photograph, which appeared twice (on both pages 1 and 3), was incorrectly captioned "Above: Frank Hall pictured with Frankie Byrne" and "Frank and Frankie: 'He was a great guy f but he wasn't available'".
We apologise to Mildred O'Brien for the upset caused to her by this error.
