BEFORE the Dail resumes at the end of this month, Martin Cullen will be hoping to knock heads together between the Taoiseach and the Tanaiste over the Aer Lingus issue.
A decision to sell part of the national airline has to be made shortly.
Reliable political sources tell us that September next is widely seen as the final cut-off date in view of an election in the first half of 2007. Interestingly, the same sources said the option of a flotation with some shares being sold to the public has not been ruled out although without any of the fanfare associated with the Eircom sell-off.
