Winemaker Claire Allan of Huia Winery in Marlborough is bringing her wares to the exquisite Ballyvolane House near Fermoy, Co Cork, where they've been matched with a five-course seasonal menu. Expect Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with such treats as canapes, roast Barbary duck breast, poached plums and Irish farmhouse cheeses. Built in the 1720s, Ballyvolane House is a bastion of elegance and luxurious country living, and the perfect setting for a gourmet get-together.
