LAUNCHED yesterday at The Castle Arch Hotel in Trim, Co Meath, Rochford Manor is the latest offering from Taggart Holdings.
This stylish scheme of 114 homes is a mix of apartments, duplexes, townhouses and large homes and will undoubtedly appeal to a wide group of buyers from singles to families trading up to a detached five-bed with a garage.
On an elevated site on the outskirts of the town, Rochford Manor has good views of the surrounding countryside, and is within walking distance of the Knightsbridge golf and country club.
Built around the magnificent castle, Trim is a popular spot with tourists. The town has a good selection of shops, schools, restaurants and facilities, while Navan town is just 12km away and Dublin just 45km. And, with the transfer of the Office of Public Works headquarters to Trim in 2007, the town is set to further develop so demand for residential property is expected to grow.
Similar to their Royal Canal development in Mullingar, Taggart Holdings have created a good mix of homes at Rochford Manor, with nine styles on offer. The Boyne is a large five-bed detached house with a garage that has a floor area of 244sq m (2,625sq ft). Finished in redbrick, this is a traditional, double-fronted house with large bay windows, plenty of space inside, and front and rear gardens.
The Loughcrew is another spacious home. A detached four-bed, this house has a floor area of 128sq m (1,378sq ft), while The Newgrange is a four-bed dormer bungalow of 136sq m (1,464sq ft).
A selection of three and four-bed semis and terraced houses is also available, ranging in size from 101 to 119sq m (1,087 to 1,281sq ft), as well as two- and three-bed apartments and duplexes between 67 and 134sq m (721 to 1,442sq ft).
All homes include good standard features such as timber windows, customdesigned kitchens with a choice of worktops and handles, integrated appliances, choice of floor tiling in kitchen and utility room, and recessed low-voltage lighting.
All homes are painted throughout and include carpeting to hall, stairs, landing and bedrooms, as well as wiring for a state-of-the-art home entertainment system.
Other features include gasfired central heating, flagstone patios, top-soiled and seeded gardens, cobblelock driveways and fitted alarm systems.
All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, while the fourand five-bed detached homes come with walk-in wardrobes.
Plans for all homes are on view today at The Castle Arch Hotel in Trim from 12 to 5pm.
