YOU don't get many laughs in the exciting world of household cleaning products. But Reckitt Benckiser boss Bart Becht caused a few wry smiles last week when he told reporters that he likes to do the cleaning at home and uses about 20 Reckitt products such as Dettol kitchen cleaner and Finish dishwashing tablets.
"Most people would think household cleaning is very dull, but I do not or I would not be working for Reckitt, " said Dutchman Becht.
"Some of us think it is very exciting, " he added in an Alan Partridge-esque aside.
OK, we are willing to accept that inventing and marketing cleaning products could be considered exciting, but cleaning the house is still very, very dull.
