A PRICE of over 18 million is expected for the popular Glenview Hotel in Delgany, Wicklow when it is sold by tender on the 16 March through selling agent CB Richard Ellis.
Stafford Holdings have owned the hotel for the last fifteen years but following its recent acquisition of Lifestyle Sports, the company has decided to focus on that brand and as well as continuing to expand its energy businesses Campus Oil and Stafford Fuels.
"Lifestyle has over seventy sports outlets in the Republic and Northern Ireland and we have plans to increase this number in the future, " says chief executive Mark Stafford.
The Glenview Hotel overlooks the N11 dual carriageway and is close to tourist attractions like Avoca and Brittas Bay as well as being accessible to quality golf courses like Druids Glen and Powerscourt.
The hotel has seventy ensuite bedrooms and suites including a number of executive rooms and a penthouse suite featuring a private lounge.
The Glenview also has extensive conference and banqueting facilities with eight dedicated meeting rooms, which can cater for between five and two hundred fifty delegates.
The property also includes a top quality leisure club which has over 2,000 members.
Its facilities include a gym, pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, a juice bar and the newly opened Haven beauty and therapy treatment rooms.
The whole complex extends to approximately 11.8 ha (29.2 acres) and includes terraced gardens with scenic walking trails through woodland.
