WALSH CUP SH FINAL KILKENNY 1-18 WEXFORD 1-12 A WELL taken 62nd minute goal by promising newcomer Aidan Fogarty wrapped up a fine Walsh Cup senior hurling tournament final victory for Kilkenny in a somewhat onesided final against Wexford at Nowlan Park yesterday. The winners led by 0-12 to 0-3 at half-time. Wexford's best spell of the match saw them cut the diffeence to 1-10 to 0-17 around the hour mark, but then Fogarty pounced to get the score that retained the title for the Cats.
