The men, both from Liverpool, England, were detained at Blanchardstown garda station. Gardai seized two vans and a car in a follow-up search, and subsequent searches continued yesterday.

Friday's drugs seizure was the second large haul last week. Earlier in the week, gardai smashed a smuggling ring believed to have been orchestrated by a Nigerian drugs gang, when 3.5m of high-quality cocaine was seized.
