AIB LEAGUE DIVISION ONE BUCCANEERS 33 BELFAST HARLEQUINS 32 Dubarry Park
TOM CREGAN converted his own try seven minutes into injury time to secure a dramatic victory for Buccaneers. It was a cruel end to the game for the Belfast side who must have thought they had done enough to earn the win in this AIB League Division One clash at Dubarry Park yesterday.
It had all started so well for Belfast and they deserved a one-point lead at the break.
Mark Kettyle and Paul McKenzie both found space to breach the Buccaneers line in that opening period as they took a 17-16 lead into the second half.
Stuart Philpott's late converted try looked to be enough for the visitors, but Cregan's late, late show secured a home win.
