Police probe into shooting



NORTHERN Ireland Police Ombudsman Nuala O'Loan launched an investigation yesterday after police opened fire during a planned offensive on crime in Derry in the early hours of yesterday morning. Police approached two suspects acting suspiciously in the Glenshane Road area. As the men ran off, police fired three shots into the air. Both suspects were arrested and two other men were questioned.
