Considering it took a van, a locked room and a nervous, execution-style scene to end Dom Corrigan's days in charge in Sligo, we're just wondering how exactly the county board are going to appoint a replacement. To keep their super-hard image, those in charge will have to do something special and, no doubt, the tasks facing the potential replacements would make a superb slice of reality television.
Unfortunately, other than bringing Chuck Norris onto the interview panel, they've failed to divulge what else they have up their crafty sleeves and at this stage, and it is unlikely they will.
When Sideline Cuts got word of a fire on a mountain within the county during the week, it became clear that the search had already begun and it's clearly taking place behind locked doors.
