Upmarket in Offaly's Geashill

CIVIL servants associated with the relocation of the Department of Finance to Tullamore and the Department of Agriculture to Portlaoise will be interested in a small upmarket development in the nearby village of Geashill, Co Offaly, where prices are a fraction of their Dublin equivalent.

Ard Riadha in Geashill is a scheme of 35 architectdesigned detached familysized bungalows and dormers in a choice of three and fourbed designs with prices starting at 365,000.

These homes, with large gardens and floor areas of 131sqm-199sqm (1410 sq ft - 2144sq ft) are on a very pretty site where a creche is also being built.

Agent Mark Crosbie says they are expecting interest from Dublin buyers because Geashill is a 10-minute drive from both Tullamore and Portarlington train stations, now both established commuter routes to the capital.

Each home comes with allowances for kitchen, tiling, painting and fireplace and includes a kerbed tarmac drive, pine solid timber double glazed windows, high electrical specification, a stira attic stairs, footpaths and come wired for alarm.

The homes are on view next Saturday and Sunday 4 and 5 March from 11 am to 3pm Prices: from 365,000 Agents: Mark Crosbie Auctioneers 01 6616919) and Liam Moran Auctioneers 057 93 60747
