In April 2006, small businesses from all corners of the island of Ireland are invited to take part in the 2006 MAIN Event - MicroTrade All-Island Networking Event - an invaluable opportunity to meet hundreds of small businesses and larger buyer organisations in one day.
The event, which takes place on the 5th April at Citywest Conference Centre, County Dublin, is the flagship event of a partnership involving the 35 County Enterprise Boards of Ireland, the 32 Local Enterprise Agencies of Enterprise Northern Ireland and InterTradeIreland, the all-island trade and business development body.
The 500 business people attending the event will be able to pre-arrange meetings with buyers and other small businesses through an innovative web-based profiling system. You choose who you meet! SpeednetworkingTM sessions and business advice seminars will also be on offer.
Representatives of the County Enterprise Boards, Enterprise Northern Ireland and InterTradeIreland gathered in Dublin last week to announce Padraig O'Ceidigh, founder and CEO of Aer Aran, as the guest speaker for the event. Having grown a small business into the third largest carrier out of Dublin airport and one of the fastest growing regional airlines in Europe, Padraig is well placed to inspire delegates into building their businesses beyond local boundaries. His other business interests include a printing company and language schools in Connemara.
To book your place at this year's event, contact your local County Enterprise Board (www. enterpriseboards. ie) or Local Enterprise Agency (www. enterpriseni. com).
They will be available to answer any questions you may have. You can also apply to register at www.MicroTrade. org.
