WHILE the Fairtrade logo is smart and distinctive, you may not be aware that it features on a wide range of products in most supermarket chains, from SuperValu to Superquinn, Tesco to Dunnes Stores and Marks & Spencer to Centra. Health food shops are good sources of Fairtrade goodies too, but it's Oxfam shops that stock, by far, the largest range of fairly traded food products, with over 125 different items. Along with standards like coffee, tea, chocolate, honey and sugar you'll find cooking oils, cookies, dried fruit and fruit bars, pasta and rice on offer.
Definitely worth a browse.
Oxfam Ireland's Fair Trade shops are located on South King Street, Dublin; Abbeygate Street, Galway; Rosemary Street, Belfast and French Church Street, Cork.
