The unemployment rate in Ireland is almost half the "gure for the eurozone. The unemployment rate in the dozen nations sharing the euro was 8.3% in January.
Amazon, the world's largest online retailer, reported last week that it will hire 450 workers at a new customer service centre in Cork. Google and Amgen are also to create new jobs in the months ahead.
