Take the old road to a Cabra home

THEOld Cabra Road is one of those fine Dublin 7 residential streets featuring house styles from the early years of the 20th century up to the mid l930s. No 90 Old Cabra Road is a solid redbrick with 175 sq m (1,880 sq ft) of floor space.

The very large entrance hall leads to two formal reception rooms . . . the drawingroom with bay, and the dining room overlooking the garden.

The kitchen is modern, large and functional with cherrywood fitted wall and floor units topped with polished granite work surfaces.

Adjacent is an inner hall, and leading off from here is the guest cloakroom, and a wellfitted utility with good storage and appliances. A door leads from here to the side access area of the house, behind the garage.

Upstairs are four bedrooms, two with built-in wardrobes.

There are two bathrooms; one a dedicated shower room with power shower.

Outside, the rear garden, circa 104ft long, is mainly in lawn, surrounded by mature shrubs and with a patio. At the bottom of the garden is a Shomera style, timber den (17ft x 17ft) with pine panelled walls and ceiling.

Price: AMV 900,000; auction 12 April Agent: Felicity Fox 01-633 4431
