Model of caring

I am working with Cancer Research because. . .

It's a cause I believe in and cancer touches everyone's life at some point.

The item of clothing I am giving away is. . .

A pair of jeans that I used to wear all the time, but it's time for them to be passed on. I'll be filling a number of Cancer Research bags with all sorts of household items too.

If I wasn't talking to you right now I'd be. . .

Riding my horses with my kids . . . we love to ride. Or we'd be going for a hike in the hills near where we live.

A phrase I use far too often is. . .

"And all the rest of it." It's just a phrase that I seem to say at the moment . . . it's kind of sarcastic.

I wish people would take more notice of. . .

The environment and animal welfare. Global warming should be such a concern, but so many people seem to just ignore what's going on.

The most surprising thing that ever happened to me was. . .

Spending time with endangered gorillas in Cameroon.

A common misperception of me is. . .

That I'm standoffish.

I'm not a politician but. . .

If I was, the environment would be at the top of my manifesto.

The ideal night out is. . .

Dinner at Sushi Rocks or the Whiskey Lounge in LA.

In a nutshell, my philosophy is this. . .

Look after yourself and your family, and treat others the way you'd want to be treated yourself.
