>> Dublin MEP Gay Mitchell will shortly follow his Fine Gael party colleague Simon Coveney by announcing his return to national politics. Mitchell will be back on the hustings in Dublin South Central with his supporters promising voters they're looking at the next minister for foreign affairs, if Enda Kenny's alternative coalition gets into power. The word is, however, that Mairead McGuinness, the other Fine Gael MEP with Dail ambitions, won't be showing her hand in Kildare South until the autumn.
