HOW DO I LOOK? MAUREEN LYNCH, JEWELLERY DESIGNER
Una Mullally

MY STYLE is casual. I'm actually due a baby in six weeks and it's the third baby in four years, so the last four years has been a strange time with style. Your shape changes each time. I like fitted clothing, I love textures, soft tailoring, things that fit properly.

My favourite designers would be Agnes B and a lot of Prada. I have quite a few things from Oakes . . . the Dublin label . . . because their clothes really fit.

I have a Formes black skirt that I'm wearing to death, it's really soft and the shape is really good. My other favourite is a pair of navy jeans that are about six years old, from Levis.

I have an orange Prada bag that I love. It's beautifully made. If you're feeling dowdy, it brightens you up. I tend to wear a lot of black.

Last summer I started to wear a lot of white linen, but I really like black, and I'm a red head, so there is colour, plus black suits jewellery.

My jewellery is very simple. It's sculptural and looks different from the side than it does at the front. I like simple, well cut pieces. I don't like jewellery that takes a person over.

I wear a forged bangle I designed about 16 years ago and I wear that all the time.

I wear earrings, simple ones, all the time as well. I tend to wear silver. There's a certain silver pendant I wear on a very strong chain . . . which it has to be, with small children. I think Marks and Spencer jewellery is great, Monsoon and Accessorise are good too.

When I'm not pregnant, Agnes B is my favourite shop. It's beautiful. Brown Thomas would be my favourite shop in Dublin because it has variety.

I'm not a very patient shopper, so I manage well in smaller shops. Shopping needs to be enjoyable as opposed to hard work.
