A NEW residential scheme in Castlerea, Co Roscommon is offering buyers over 95% tax relief.
Comprising a mix of detached and semi-detached four-bed homes, Knockroe Park is a small scheme of just 23 units. It has been selling well since being launched recently, with 15 homes sold already, and now just one detached four-bed and seven semi-detached houses are still available.
Located close to the town centre, Knockroe Park is being marketed as a familystyle development, owing to its proximity to primary and secondary schools, shops and local facilities. A busy town, Castlerea's main employment is based around the Prison Services, garda station, health care centre and a large industrial estate in the town, and according to selling agents James Cleary & Sons, there is a strong rental market in this area.
A new Lidl supermarket is due to open and the town has plans for more commercial development. Castlerea also has its own train station linking it to other areas along the Dublin to Galway line.
All homes are traditional in style and are finished in a mix of smooth render and cut stone. Four-bed semis have a floor area of 127 square metres (1371 square feet), while four-bed detached houses are slightly larger at 128 square metres (1382 square feet), and also include an adjoining garage.
Houses include hall, living room, kitchen, dining area, bedrooms, bathroom and ensuite. Standard features include Rosso fitted kitchens, Shaker-style ivory wardrobes in bedrooms, timber and tiled flooring throughout, fully tiled bathrooms and kitchens, and complete paint finish.
Price: four-beds from 205,000.
