Beside the sea, close to city with Clontarf quality

THE final phase of apartments at Redcourt Oaks, a new scheme in Clontarf, Dublin 3, went on the market this weekend. Just off Seafield Road East, Redcourt Oaks is a few minutes' walk from the seafront.

An attractive development designed by Frank Elmes Architects, this scheme comprises a mix of apartments and duplexes and a small number of houses. In this phase, two apartment blocks comprising a mix of one-, two- and three-bed units, some of which have sea views, are on offer.

Clontarf is about four miles from the city centre and the established seaside suburb now commands some of the top prices in Dublin's north city.

The village has lots of shops, cafés, restaurants and local amenities, along with a good selection of schools. A quality bus corridor and the Dart provide access into the city centre in minutes.

One-bed apartments range in size from 46 to 98sq m (495 to 1,055sq ft) and accommodation comprises a hall, storage room, kitchen with living/ diningroom, bedroom and bathroom.

Most units are two-beds and range in size from 77 to 89sq m (829sq ft to 958sq ft).

There are several styles of two-bed available, most with sea views, but all units include two double bedrooms, with one en suite, a kitchen, living and dining area, and a separate utility room.

Three-bed apartments have a floor area of 98sq m (1,055sq ft) and include three double bedrooms, a kitchen, living/ diningroom, fully fitted utility room and separate storage room. There is lift access to all floors and there are only four apartments on each floor.

All apartments come with fitted kitchen, polished granite worktops and integrated appliances, fully tiled kitchen floors, tiled bathroom and en suite with heated towel rails and thermostatically-controlled shower, recessed downlighters to kitchen and living area, gas-fired central heating, double-glazed Nordan pine windows, ash internal doors, and secure parking.

All units also include a balcony or terrace.
