AN outdoor advert for O2, created by CawleyNea TBWA, was the most recalled campaign in 2005, according to research released last week by Poster Management (PML). The campaign, which ran in August last year, was remembered by 81% of all adults surveyed.
PML interviewed adults regarding 346 campaigns, both single- and multi-format. It found that the best recalled advert among males was a summer campaign for 7-Up Free, which was recalled by 84% of males.
The advert was created by Irish International BBDO.
Among females, chocolate was the winner, with a January 2005 campaign for Cadbury's Creme Eggs also being recalled by 84% of those surveyed. That campaign was created by QMP Publicis. A 48-sheet campaign for TrĂ³caire had the highest rating in that category, being recalled by 63% of adults. It was made by Public Communications Centre.
