With more than a hint of the Arabian Nights about it, Al Murooj is a relative newcomer to the Dubai skyline and is also one of the city's very tasteful hotels. That's not to say that it doesn't have its fair share of gleaming marble and the like . . . this is Dubai, after all, a city of superlatives .
What's the best thing?
Incredible choice . . . all kinds of rooms and suites and there's also the lavish gardens and three pools, not to mention the restaurants. Apart from the buffet restaurant (superb breakfasts with wonderful fruit) there are other outlets dotted over the site, from the Waterside Seafood Restaurant to the elegant Latino House with a floating terrace. Stroll there via the gardens or hitch a ride on a kind of golf-buggy that operates around the complex.
