Investing potential inUK apartments

UK-BASED company City Residential are releasing a range of starter apartments in Liverpool, which they believe will sell well on the Irish market.

Part of the Bridpoint development, these units which are priced from around 140,200, are aimed at Irish investors, and young first-time buyers who can't afford property at Dublin prices, but want an investment with strong rental potential and good capital appreciation.

We already sell a lot of property to Irish buyers as we specialise in city centre off-plan and off-plan re-sales, " says Emma Davidson of City Residential.

Laid out in a five-storey brick building with ground level retail units, Bridpoint comprises 17 one- and two-bed apartments. Set behind the Empire Theatre, near to Lime Street station, this scheme has been designed to attract young people looking for central accommodation close to bars, restaurants and shops.

Accommodation in all units comprises a hall, open-plan kitchen cum dining room, bedroom and bathroom, and standard features include oak internal doors, fully fitted contemporary kitchen with appliances. All units come with balconies, and living rooms have large floor to ceiling sliding patio doors. Bedrooms come with built-in storage.

Price: one-bed from 140,200 and two-bed from 195,200.

Agent: City Residential 0044-151 293 0505.
