Pine Trees is a picturesque par-71 course established in 1997 located seven miles from Maynooth and 17 miles from Dublin city.

The clubhouse features a reception area, changing rooms and toilets with a car parking area to the front.

The Dublin/Wicklow mountains form a backdrop to the course which is regarded as a sedate alternative to more established local courses like the K Club and the Carlton House Club.

The course serves a niche market for golfers in the area who might not be up to the standard of those playing on more illustrious courses, " says Susan Kirk of agents Coonans.

Even purely as an agricultural holding it's a very valuable tract of land, " she adds. ?It might be suitable as a stud farm. Or there may be alternative leisure facilities which could be established there . . . a riding school, for example, might be one option."
