Call for more A&E beds and staff



THE Irish Medical Organisation has said there will be no improvement in A&E departments until the government opens more hospital beds and lifts an embargo on the recruitment of staff. Speaking at the IMO's annual conference in Killarney the organisation's new president, Dr Christine O'Malley said the current system was preventing doctors treating patients.
