ONa hot day there's nothing more refreshing than cooling fresh pressed apple juice. Ireland produces some quality contenders and my current favourite is Llewellyn's Premium Irish Apple Juice. It's the Bramley variety that tingles my taste buds most. So tart and zingy, it's like a glass of baby rhubarb and a bag of apple drops rolled into one. There's a choice of varieties, all made with Irish apples.
Free from anything artificial, you'll spot the distinctive green bottles at farmers' markets, Superquinn stores and good delis.
