IRISH-based property development and investment group, Fuerteventura Properties, has just launched Bristol Playa Resort onto the market.
Selling from plans, this Canary Islands seafront development is in the heart of Corralejo, the main resort town, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and local amenities.
According to the selling agents, Fuerteventura has good all-year round rental potential because of its hot climate. On the same latitude as Florida, this island is suitable for beach holidays even in December and January.
The island is also popular with golfers, with the Spanish Open held there in 2004, and a further seven golf courses now under construction.
Developed by the Oasis Group, one of Spain's major building companies, Bristol Playa Resort is a five-star complex, comprising 180 apartments, mainly twobeds, all of which are due to be completed in the next two years.
Right on the seafront, apartments here will have views of Lanzarote. A lowrise scheme, all units will have good-sized balconies, and the scheme will have its own private pool. Other features will include a reception area and on-site manager, Italian marble flooring in all units, and underground parking.
Capital appreciation on Fuerteventura properties is currently at 15%, say the agents, and 70% interest only mortgages for three years, are available.
Two-bed apartments cost from 245,000, and some smaller units are available from 79,500. Garages cost an extra 22,500.
