CURRAGH trainers Dermot Weld and John Oxx are well represented at this afternoon's meeting at Roscommon, with Weld, in particular, fancied to double up through Cherokee Stream in the opener and Glitter Bay in the Property Partners Earley Auctioneers Handicap.
Cherokee Stream is making her debut here, but she is well bred, and sure to be primed for the task in hand.
Pat Smullen's mount is likely to be given most to do by the more experienced pair of Mini Dane, from the in-form Tommy Stack stable, and Oxx's representative Snow Gretel. Nevertheless, Cherokee Stream is still the one who holds most appeal.
Joe Murphy's luckless performer Ask Carol deserves another chance in the Dermot Hughes Toyota Car Sales Handicap, while Charlie Swan's recent Clonmel scorer Kit Carson should be capable of following up under Ruby Walsh in the George McCourt Memorial Novice Chase.
Racing also takes place at Cork, where last Sunday's Listowel winner Vic Ville gets the vote to supplement his earnings with further success in the Cork Racecourse Mallow Barbeque Chase over three miles.
