Pop in to Poppintree for a walk in the Parkview
June Edwards

WITH very few homes available under 300,000 in Dublin city these days, firsttime buyers will be interested in the launch of Parkview, a new residential scheme at Poppintree, just off Jamestown Road on the border of Ballymun and Santry in Dublin 9, where one-beds are selling from 230,000, and two-beds from 295,000.

Developed by Lyndonbarry, Parkview is a contemporary scheme comprising a good mix of one- and two-bed apartments and three-bed duplexes. Lyndonbarry has also completed the nearby Lymewood Mews and Temple Court apartment schemes at Northwood on Santry Avenue.

About five miles from the city centre, Poppintree is very close to Ballymun town centre which is currently undergoing a massive regeneration programme. Santry is also nearby and provides a great range of facilities and shopping at the Omni Centre.

These apartments should also generate strong rental income, with Dublin City University within walking distance, and Dublin Airport less than 10 minutes' drive away.

A contemporary development laid out on a landscaped site, apartments are set around a courtyard and all units include surface carparking. One-bed apartments range in size from 44sq m to 57sq m (473sq ft to 613sq ft), while two-beds, which are larger than average, vary from 72sq m to 102sq m (775sq ft to 1,098sq ft). Threebed duplexes are around 98sq m (1,054sq ft).

Standard features in all homes include modern coated windows, balconies in all apartments, fitted cream gloss kitchens with walnutstyle worktops, tiled floors and integrated units.

Bathrooms include contemporary white sanitary ware with chrome fittings and tiled floors, electric heating in apartments and gas central heating in duplexes, and wiring for Magnet system in living area and bedrooms, allowing digital telephony, digital TV and broadband.

Bedrooms include fitted wardrobes, and many twoand three-beds include an ensuite bathroom. Duplex houses also include fitted fireplaces in the livingroom.

Price: one-bed apartments from 230,000; two-beds from 295,000; and three-bed duplexes from 365,000 Agent: Gunne New Homes 01-6282332
