Restored inRos
June Edwards

IF ONLY the walls could talk, what stories would Rinnarudden have to tell! A charming 19th century, stone-cut double-fronted house, Rinnarudden was formerly used as the local national school and then later as a post-office. Now completely refurbished and sensitively restored, the property is a comfortable and tasteful family home.

In Kingsland, Boyle, the property is almost midway between Sligo and Roscommon, both about 40 minutes' drive or 25 miles away.

New owners will have little to do here except hang their hat, with the property presented in good condition. Overall accommodation comprises a hall, living cum diningroom, kitchen, ground floor bathroom, three bedrooms upstairs and one en suite bathroom.

As part of the restoration, the house was fitted with farmhouse-style, double-glazed teak windows, while oil-fired central heating was also installed.

The kitchen has been newly fitted with solid oak units and integrated appliances, while a mix of tiled and timber flooring has been laid throughout, and there are two large fireplaces. Outside there is a large garden with raised deck, outdoor lighting, and a studio workshop with utility area.
