Big change inEdenderry
EDENDERRY, Co Offaly is set to undergo some major development, with the announcement that planning permission has been granted for a mixed-use scheme in the town centre.
The new scheme which will provide 39 apartments and townhouses, a supermarket, medical centre, 14 retail units, and 286 car parking spaces, comes on the back of the government decision to decentralise the of"ces for the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC) from Dublin to Edenderry.
This new scheme which has been designed by Douglas Wallace Architects, will form a new street off JKL Street, blending in with the existing built heritage of the town.
The project is a collaboration between local residents Patrick Oman and Patrick Reynolds, and Bennett Construction. It will include a mix of two- and three-bed homes.
