Boyne andBlackwater offer anupmarket option inTrim
June Edwards

TAGGART Holdings has just released the final two detached homes of its popular Rochford Manor residential development in Trim, Co Meath. The traditional-style redbricks in two styles are expected to appeal to families looking to trade-up to a spacious house with garden and garage.

On the outskirts of Trim town, close to the M50 and just 12km from Navan, and 45km from Dublin, Rochford Manor has sold well to date. Trim has a good selection of shops, schools businesses and local amenities, while the new Knightsbridge Golf & Country Club, incorporating an upmarket hotel and Christy O'Connor Jnr-designed golf course, is within walking distance of this development. And with Trim set to be the new Office of Public Works headquarters, further commercial and residential development is expected in the town.

Set on an elevated site, most homes in Rochford Manor have good views over the surrounding countryside. On offer now are two types of five-bed, almost ready to walk into:

The Boyne has a floor area of 244sq m (2,625sq ft), while The Blackwater is around 170sq m (1,829sq ft). Both are spacious and well-laid out and include a hall, sittingroom, diningroom, kitchen/breakfast room, utility, bedrooms, bathroom, ensuite and guest wc. Both come with side garage.

Stylish and well finished, the houses include some good features, such as customdesigned fitted kitchens with a choice of worktops and handle styles, and integrated appliances. The kitchens come with a choice of floor tiling and low-voltage lighting.

The houses are carpeted (but for tiled bathrooms and kitchens) and bedrooms have built-in or walk-in wardrobes.

Sitting rooms have low-voltage lighting and a choice of fireplaces, while bathrooms have thermostatic showers, choice of tiling and chrome fittings.

Other features include cabling for a home entertainment system, and fitted security alarm. Back gardens will be top-soiled and seeded, while cobble-lock driveways have been laid to the front.
