ELHAMRI defied top weight in style to win the Weatherbys Super Sprint at 9-1 in the hands of Declan McDonogh.
Sylvester Kirk's colt had to shoulder 9st 4lbs, but made virtually all the running down the centre of the course and stayed on strongly to follow up last month's Royal Ascot success in the Windsor Castle Stakes.
