Howth home offers two extra reasons to invest
June Edwards

DEVELOPERS will no doubt be interested in the sale of Timaru, a large detached home on 1.18 acres in Howth, Co Dublin which comes to the market with full planning permission for a further two detached houses.

According to selling agents at HOK Residential, Timaru will appeal to someone looking to develop a small enclave of top-of-the-range homes in a prestigious area, or a buyer seeking a high-end home on large private gardens.

A split-level home of around 322sq m, (3,469sq ft), accommodation at Timaru comprises a hall, spacious open-plan living-cum-dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, four bedrooms, one with en-suite, main bathroom and separate dressing room.

A large elevated terrace opens out from the reception rooms overlooking the sea and gardens, while at lower level there is a fifth bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, study and garage.

Permission has been granted for two detached homes of 236sq m and 319sq m (2539sq ft and 3432sq ft), one of which will be a dormer bungalow, and the other a bungalow over basement.
