DURKAN New Homes has just released the second phase of Beech Park, its popular residential scheme on Glen EastRoad in Leixlip, Co Kildare, which to date has sold very well.
Due to be ready from next March onwards, Beech Park will comprise around 287 homes when completed, most of which (233) will be houses.
Apartments will come onstream in a later phase.
And with new traditionalstyle, detached, semi-detached and terraced houses with gardens hard to come by in Dublin, selling agents Douglas Newman Good expect this phase of Beech Park to sell as quickly as the last one.
About 40 minutes drive from the city, and just off the M50, property in Leixlip always sells well, with big employers Intel and Hewlett Packard both located in the area.
Maynooth and Celbridge are also both a short drive away while Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is about 15 minutes drive. A regular commuter rail service also runs from Louisa Bridge and Confey.
Designed by architects McCrossan O'Rourke Manning, homes at Beech Park are finished in a mix of traditional brick and smooth render.
Available in this phase are a mix of two and three-bed terraced houses and three and four-bed detached and semi-detached. Many of the houses have bright, open-plan kitchen cum diningrooms, and decent-sized separate sitting rooms with patio doors out to private back gardens.
Two-bed mid-terraced houses have a floor area of 80sq m (861sq ft), while threebed houses range in size from 88sq m to 103sq m (945sq ft to 1114sq ft), and four-beds are from 118sq m to 126sq m (1270sq ft to 1354sq ft).
Other standard features in these homes include fitted Nolan kitchens, tiling in kitchens, bathrooms and ensuites, gas-fired central heating, and built-in wardrobes in all bedrooms.
Price: two-bed houses from 375,000, three-beds from 400,000 and four-beds from 550,000 to 650,000.
