Luxury apartments in Toronto

IRISH investors get a chance to buy property in one of the most prestigious hotels in Toronto, with the launch of 'The Residences' at the Ritz-Carlton.

One of the world's most multicultural cities, Toronto is considered the business and manufacturing capital of Canada.

Located between the 23rd and 52nd floors of this impressive hotel, the 'residences' are the ultimate in luxury apartment living. Even the one-bed units have a floor area of 130sq m (1400sq ft), while two and three-bed units stretch to a massive area of 929sq m (10,000sq ft).

In a good downtown location, The Ritz Carlton building is just west of Simcoe Street, and on the south side of Wellington Street. The site is in a very strong rental area with the CBC building nearby, while the theatre district, Skydrome, Air Canada centre and new opera house are also a short walk away.

A tall contemporary 52storey building encompassing 700,000sq ft of space, this is one of Toronto's most impressive landmarks.

All homes come with stylish features such as 10ft-high ceilings, floor-to ceilingwindows with uninterrupted views in all directions, and flooring in a range of materials such as marble, granite and limestone. The fit-out is equally impressive with gourmet kitchens and top-notch appliances, and master bedrooms with dressing rooms and designer bathrooms.

Below the residences, which start on the 26th floor, is the hotel with 267 rooms and a five storey glass podium at ground level which cantilevers 45ft over the granite entrance.

Prices for large one-bed residence starts at around /850,000.
