A 19-YEAR-OLD woman died yesterday following a three-car collision in Limerick at 12.30am on the Ballysimon Road. Five people were taken to Limerick Regional Hospital following the accident. The woman, who was a backseat passenger in one of the vehicles, died from her injuries at 5am.
Meanwhile, gardai in Sligo were yesterday investigating a fatal road collision, which happened shortly before midnight on Friday. A 38-year-old man was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road at Enniscrone and hit a fence.
