The Daily Telegraph podcast

Critics of the Telegraph took shots last week at the paper's commitment to producing a podcast that, they say, distracts its journos from doing their day jobs. But make no mistake. The Telegraph podcast was the "rst major newspaper to offer one and they did it right. Its presenter/editor, Guy Ruddle, previously fronted the BBC's Wake Up to Money programme (a previous Must Hear).
Business coverage is the heart of the podcast, usually featuring City editor Damien Reece with the paper's main business stories. Bright, breezy, funny and in plain English.
The advantage of a podcast from a daily newspaper is that, unlike radio shows, they already know what's in tomorrow's paper.
They duly make the podcast available just after midnight. We'd be lost without it.
