LAUNCHING this weekend at the Invest in Property Show at Dublin's RDS, is Alanda Cortesin, an apartment scheme located between Estepona and Sotogrande in Spain.
Currently selling from plans and developed by Alanda Homes, the Spanish arm of Irish construction company McInerney Holdings, Cortesin is expected to be ready by late 2008. Set within Finca el Cortesin, a 200-hectare estate on the Casares Road, this development will have 45 apartments laid out in four blocks. Units will be larger than average with two-beds around 115sq m (1,237sq ft).
Included in the grounds will be two swimming pools and underground parking. Set to be one of the most prestigious holiday estates on the Costa del Sol, Cortesin will also incorporate an 18-hole Cabel Robinson designed golf course and a Jack Nicklaus managed golf academy. The five star hotel and spa at the centre of the development will be managed by the Stein Group, while the shopping area on the outskirts of the development will be designed by Cesar Leyva.
The first 10 homes are selling at pre-launch prices of around 340,000 for a large two-bed.
