Low rise, high quality, at Timber Mill in Artane nouveau
Brenda McNally

HOOKE and MacDonald is releasing the final 40 apartments from new show apartments at Timber Mill, Kilmore Road, Artane, Dublin, this weekend. Designed by architects Murray O'Laoire, this is a high-quality mixed development of two-bed apartments which boasts a wealth of amenities on its doorstep.

Located opposite the Artane Castle shopping centre, the development is situated in an area with plenty of shopping and leisure amenities. Just three miles from Dublin city centre and close to both the M50 and M1 motorways, it also has good public transport links including quality bus corridors on both the Beaumont and Malahide Roads.

Timber Mill is a low-rise scheme consisting mainly of two- and three-storey blocks with one four-storey element on the Kilmore Road. Other features of this 193-unit scheme include a creche with play area, an underground car park and a number of small retail units.

Built by developer Werdna Ltd, the units have a Premier 10 Year Guarantee. The overall specification is very good, with high-quality fitted kitchens, fitted wardrobes in all the bedrooms and Gold Shield Electric heating.

Spanning 60sq m to 76sq m (650sq ft to 815sq ft), all the units in the final phase are contained in the four-storey block. The majority of apartments have large balconies, which are either south facing or overlooking a landscaped courtyard. All of the apartments are ready to move in now.

Price: 395,000 including one parking space Agent: Hooke and MacDonald, 01-631 8402
