A THREE-ACRE site in Rathfarnham, south Dublin, with 100 metres of frontage, would suit a high-density development of potentially 162 apartments, according to selling agents Re/Max. A price in excess of 17.5m is sought.
The site at the Old Ballycullen Road initially consisted of three cottages built in the late 1800s. By the beginning of the 20th century, a terrace of four cottages was constructed with a further two properties added in the past 30 years.
Woodstown Village and the Hunterswood development, constructed by Ellier Developments, are both adjacent to the site. Tayto Crisps once used the land in front of the site, where Woodstown Village now stands, as fields from growing potatoes.
