The leader of Camac
Brenda McNally

GUNNENew Homes has just released the final phase of apartments at Kilmainham Lane, Dublin 8. Of interest to both owner occupiers and investors due to the central location and strong letting in the area, these final 20 owndoor entrance units, all with balconies, are bound to be snapped up quickly. An attractive addition to the popular old Kilmainham quater, the development also offers waterfront views of the river Camac and secure underground parking.

The development comprises two- and three-bed apartments starting from 520,000 for a two-bed plus study spanning 83sq m (893sq ft) to 550,000 for three-beds spanning 96sq m (1,033sq ft).

Currently under construction, Kilmainham Lane is expected to be completed by February 2007.

The apartments themselves feature contemporary kitchens from Moore's awardwinning kitchens, en-suites and high-quality tiling as standard.

Other features include energy-efficient gas heating, Smart Homes Technology, broadband and automated gated access control. Limited numbers of secure underground parking spaces are available at an additional cost of 30,000 per space.

Within walking distance of the historic Kilmainham Gaol and the Royal Hospital . . . now the Museum of Modern Art, residents will have city convenience and easy access to the Phoenix Park. Dublin Castle, Christ Church, Temple Bar are all within easy reach.

Close to Heuston Station, with mainline services to Limerick, Galway, Tralee and Cork as well as the Luas line, the area is well served by public transport.

Price: two-bed plus study from 520,000; three-beds from 500,000 Agent: Gunne New Homes, 01-628 2332
