Creston's design for life off the M50
Brenda McNally

DURKAN Homes has just launched the first 40 units off plans at Creston, a brand new 141-unit development.

Located on St Margaret's Road in Finglas, there will be a range of unit types including one- and two- bed apartments, three-bed duplex homes and a limited number of two-, threeand four-bed houses.

Just 9km from the city centre, Creston is close to the M50 and St Margaret's Road is currently being upgraded to incorporate a Quality Bus Corridor and cycle lanes which will link to the existing QBC in Finglas, giving a journey time of only 35 minutes in to the city centre.

As well as a wide variety of unit types, architects Frank Crowley & Partners have provided numerous public spaces and most of the apartments and duplex homes have their own private terraces.

The houses each have a private garden to the rear. Creston will also have a creche to accommodate families.

Award-winning designer Maria MacVeigh has created contemporary interiors featuring custom-designed kitchens, ceramic tiling to kitchens and bathrooms, fitted wardrobes, gas-fired central heating, recessed lighting in kitchens and provision for cable TV and broadband connection.

There will also be a full kitchen appliances package for buyers who return contracts on time.

Price: one-beds from 270,000;

three-bed townhouses from 425,000 Agent: Gunne, 01-628 2332
