Hitting the bullseye in Dartry
Carita McCullagh

SUNBURY Park is small attractive development off Sunbury Road in Dartry, Dublin 6. No 2 exemplifies the well-designed accommodation with a ready-to-walkinto home close to all amenities.

The property has been remodelled by the current owners and is full of contemporary touches which will capture the eye of any discerning buyer.

With four bedrooms over three storeys, it comprises 169sq m (1,819sq ft) of meticulously planned living space.

The finished product is modern, bright and light and brings together the best of up-to-date interior fashion with high quality finishes for a space that is easy to live in.

Entry through the front door leads to a bright airy hall with a large doorway into the living room.

A white marble fireplace and wooden floors blend with pale walls and uplights to create a room that is cosy and comfortable. Double doors lead into the kitchen/dining room which has plenty of space for a large sofa.

The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences and a breakfast bar adds extra seating to this already spacious room.

A large Velux window over the working part of the kitchen allows light to flood into every nook and cranny.

Double doors lead into the 50ft west-facing garden designed by renowned gardener Paul Doyle who has made the most of this space with a large lawn area and perfectly placed patio. A utility room completes the ground floor accommodation.

On the first floor are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. The larger of the doubles has an attractive bay window, en-suite and a dressing room. There is also another bathroom with bath on this level.

At the top of the house the master suite fills the third floor. This room is surprisingly spacious with high ceilings and a window to the front. Adjacent is an en-suite with shower and walk-in wardrobe.

No 2 Sunbury Park was put up for auction in June of this year with an AMV of 1.9m.

The vendors subsequently withdrew it and it is now being sold by private treaty, for the same price.
