AIB LEAGUE DIVISION ONE SHANNON 34 BUCCANEERS 6
THE contest between the current Shannon coach Mick Galwey and his immediate predecessor Geoff Moylan at Thomond Park yesterday ended emphatically in the former's favour.
Galwey saw his muchchanged side perform with the kind of expert efficiency we have come to expect of them and they won't be easily stopped from going on to win to complete their second four-in-a-row in the AIB League.
Moylan's Buccaneers, however, will have a fight on their hands to say in division one after this, their second defeat in the event.
Shannon wrapped up the bonus point courtesy of an early penalty try and subsequent tries by Tony Buckley, Sean Cronin, Mark Tuohy and Stephen Kelly.
