Strong on the nose the rind plays a key part in the overall flavour.

Crumbly in the centre and smoother towards the outside this is a classic semi-soft rendition.

**** President La Brique de Chevre 4.14/150g This rich, creamy semi-soft cheese is wonderful to bite into, with a soft pate that becomes gooey towards the centre. Neither distinctively tangy nor goat-y in flavour, it was still pleasant and full flavoured.

**** Tesco Finest Fresh French Goat's Cheese 2.49/150g This little tub of fresh, creamy cheese boasts a perfect balance of salt and sweet.

With a fresh, clean bite and pleasing sourness it is extra light in texture. Extra smooth and excellent for spreading on crusty bread.
