Creggan puts boot into Ballymena
Eaton Park

AIB LEAGUE DIVISION ONE BALLYMENA 16 BUCCANEERS 18 A TERRIBLE and disappointing performance by Ballymena as this was one game they were expected to win against a side that were at the bottom of the table before the day's encounter. But Ballymena after three games are still looking for their first win although they now have two bonus points. Buccaneers adapted better to the damp conditions and deserved to be 12-9 in front at the halfway stage. Ballymena's points came in the from three penalties by Dirky Strydom where as their opponents managed to run in two tries from Aidan Wynn and Mark Bruce. In the second period Ballymena did manage to fight back and took the lead but Tom Creggan kicked his side to victory.
